Started in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in the music retail and wholesale business.  Became President and Chief Operating Officer of Capitol (EMI) Records of Canada in 1969; Became Chairman and CEO of CBS (SONY) Music in 1977; Became Vice-President and Divisional President and Chief Operating Officer of Macmillan of Canada, Gordon V. Thompson and TMP Music Publishers in 1982; Became Partner in MGA Literary Agency for writers of books and film/tv in 1989; Started own Literary Agency and Book Publishing Consulting in 1992….to the present.

President of Canadian Recording Industry Association; President Maple Music Inc.; Director , Canadian Book Publishers Council; President Canadian Telebook Agency; Director “Word on The Street; Director Ontario Film Development Corporation; Director Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.  HONORS – Canadian Recording Industry Hall of Fame Award; Juno Award; Billboard Trendsetter Award; Canadian Book Publishers Annual Recognition Award.  EDUCATION – Lisgar Collegiate/High School of Commerce Ottawa; Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY, graduated with Honors in Business Administration; many courses in management and organizational development.
